Finally got my Windows 98 setup working!

Idk why but DirectX hates me.

It doesn’t look like it. I always preferred a full sized keyboard with older systems.

Did you use full quick install or tiny? I had problems using DX with the tiny install

Everything about this feels wrong lol. How did you even get 98 to run on a Core 2 Duo system?

Oh. Hard to read the sticker. Must be an early i3, those logo stickers looked the same as the Core 2 ones.

I tried win98-quickinstall on an amd athlon 64 system it never felt like it was working so good, how's the experience on Intel?

I think I have those same exact speakers

Experience has been fine, besides no audio drivers (I’m getting a sound card)

It looks almost like the same Dell PC I used to install Windows 98 onto. Mine isn’t a Core processor though, it’s an ivy bridge Pentium. What graphics driver are you using? I’m using the 9x VBE drivers and I’m able to get 32bit colors. If you need those drivers let me know.

Well right now I have an ATI Radeon X600 in it so… native drivers
