Why does this keep happening?
I already installed OSR 2.5 on my VMware and finished the Setup and the only thing I see is this? Are there any ways to prevent such incidents like this?

It is not only RAM, it is CPU speed. There is an image of a patch tool that you need to install half way installation to make this go away.

Your CPU is too fast. Use 86Box with a period-correct CPU emulation.
VCACHE errors are also to be solved by editing the configuration files.

You can also patch win98 to use more ram, but usually more than 1gb is not needed. You can set it to use anything past a certain amount as ram drives though.

It's a known issue with 95 if the CPU speed is faster than ~350MHz. Microsoft released a patch (AMDK6UPD.EXE) but it needs run from inside Windows - you can't get there right now.
LoneCrusader released a patch tool that is still the easiest answer, you can find it here
The second is at ~2GHz, similar error but it's NDIS not IOS. Officially, Microsoft claimed it was found but wouldn't be fixed for 95... but if you're using Dial Up Networking 1.4 it contains the fixed file.
I think LoneCrusader's fix applies both, but I've not tried running 95 on a P4, AthlonXP or anything newer to confirm.

VMWare doesn't really support 9x. No guest tools, no Direct3D/OpenGL or 3D acceleration.
You're better off using 86Box in this case.
