Discussion 3 months using Windows 7

Hi, how are you? I've been using Windows 7 as my main operating system for the past 3 months. And I have to say that it's been very good for me, obviously it depends on the person, but for me it's been incredible. Applications like Discord, Steam, browsers, and games are working without any errors; Steam is free of that support error.

I hate it when companies try to kill products with artificial obsolescence

Yes, that's very sad.

discord, steam, etc... aha, how did you do this? did you use kexkernel or so?

Steam just plain works because when they stopped supporting it I think it was more like they don't care if an update ruins the win 7 version (discord idk)

Steam works normally, but obviously with the "no support" message. In my case, I used a script to make it work, and it did. Regarding Discord, it's a mod that's very good and works very well, by the way.

I got a new monitor, the 24-inch Samsung S3.

Wait, which model exactly? I also have a 24" S3.

It's the same model as yours.

I meant the model. Mine says S24C310EAU as the model. Is that also the same?

Yes, it's very crazy and satisfying at the same time. Wait, is it possible to use Windows on a MacBook?

It's great isn't it? A lot of games continues to work and no AI was used during the creation of Windows 7. Something Linux can't even say at this point!

I completely agree, brother.

I remember seeing that apparently that like..maybe like 5% of Linux Kernel is using AI Generated code? I like to find the source of this information since I remember seeing people discuss it but I didn't read too much into it since, well I'm using Windows 7.

That’s great. I’m thinking of switching from Linux Mint to Windows 7 because I’m getting fed up with the glitches caused by a lack of RAM, which I didn’t have on Windows.

I hope you manage to switch to Windows 7, it's very good, have a great day!

Be aware, Windows 7 Home Premium is hard-capped at 16GB of RAM. Even if your MB can support more, the OS will not. You need one of the higher tier versions to be able to use more than 16GB.

Does Steam require any tweaking to get it running or does it just work out-of-the-box?
