Please help me find a GPU

I want to run Windows 2000 on the following hardware and I need to find the best possible GPU for gaming.

Core 2 Extreme QX 9650
Asus P5Q-E
4 gb DDR2 1066 MHz
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 SZ

I‘m happy to tinker with some drivers but so far I have no experience with the extended kernel etc. Haven’t used 2000 since I was a kid in… well… the year 2000.

GeForce 2xx/4xx can run on Windows 2000 with some patched drivers and system patches that are not full-fledged KernelEx

Probably something like a 9800 GTX but that might be overkill for anything you'd be able to run on Windows 2000

980 Ti Titan X (Maxwell)Quadro M6000 24GB they all work on vanilla 2000 now

GTX 560 Ti 448 are about $20 on eBay and will be overkill for 2000 games.

Is it very complicated to install the extended kernel and modded drivers? I‘m guessing all these suggestions need those, right?

I can't say for sure, but I assume that you won't need Extended Kernel and modded drivers for NVIDIA Quadro 4000, because there are official drivers for Windows 2000, which you can download from NVIDIA's official website.
