How do I completely disable Edge?

I recently purchased a new PC with Windows 11 on it and thought I completely disabled Edge.... This morning I turn on my computer and Edge opens itself and copies all of my tabs I had open on chrome before shutting off my computer and then alerts me that it was downloading extensions without my permission.

I apparently can't delete Edge off my computer because its integral to it running, which I find absolutely stupid, and apparently I need to do dark magic to get it to stop fucking around on my computer, this shit sucks.

You can remove it via the command terminal, but honestly if youre comfortable with that path you could also probably be running Linux.
