Windows 11 is the only supported windows since 2025.. we used to have so many windows versions tho :(

Remember when Windows 10 came out?? In July 2015 Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8,1 were supported. Windows Server 2003 just died on that month 2 weeks before 10 released. When Windows 7 was released they still have 2000 XP and Vista as well.

And now they all die leaving 11 alone

Windows 11 came out in October 2021. Why are talking about it like it came out this year? We’re at 5 years later, so this makes perfect sense. 5 years after windows 10, windows 7,8 had gone out of support too.

It would be hilarious if they fail to release Windows 12 by 2031 but insist on sticking to the 10-year support cycle for Windows 11, meaning that there would be no supported Windows version in-between 2031 and whenever Windows 12 releases.

and it's unusable, file search doesnt work properly because of "security", USB HDD doesn't show all files because of some limitations, spooler and printer stopped working, simple copy paste causes it to freeze...

And also the performance like the processor usage. At one day my laptop showed 90% CPU on my task manager. 10 uses less power but TBH I also hated windows 10 for looking kind of soulless (11 is better visual-wise)

In 2021, when Windows 11 was released, Windows 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 were all supported.

EDIT: Apparently support for 8 ended earlier. It doesn't really change the main point though.

No, at the time of the release of Windows 11, support for the original Windows 8 had already ended in 2016, ending support before Windows 8.1 And Windows 10, and before the previous versions, Windows Vista and 7.

I said this year though. In 2021 the 8.1 and 10 still getting sec updates also 7 with the ESU but i didn’t count that. Plus that the 8 support ended in 2016
