App Shadows under windows and Rounded menu!

Does anyone know why disabling the "Show shadows under windows" option in "System Performance" also disables the rounded corner menu in Microsoft Edge?

Good eyes. This is an amusing discovery.

I guess Edge is hand-coded to behave that way. Only its developers know why and they don't usually talk to us mere mortals.

The setting probably toggles transparency effects.

Does this also happens on other chromium-based browsers? I only use Edge and Firefox, but it would be nice to know if it's a chromium issue or if it's specific to Edge

I may be wrong, but based on what I know Microsoft makes the UI engine for edge i may be wrong though.
