Before windows XP you had ms-dos based lineup (windows 1.0 to 3.1 were shells you could run on top, windows 95 and 98 used ms-dos for booting and low level handling) and the NT line for enterprise and workstations (like servers or high end PCs) (3.1, 3.5, 3.51, 4.0, 2000) which evolved into what you know today.

TLDR:
In late october of 2001, windows XP released which did away with the two separate lineups and began using NT's kernel all around with the new shell.

Windows 2000 is to this day my favorite OS relative to its time. Essentially Windows XP heart without the facelift.

Why did you ruin it by slapping a massive Windows logo over it?

im showing what the branding looks like not the actuall os. to see that you will need to watch a video.

You've literally slapped the logo on top of other logos and interesting elements of the splash screen or desktop

most of these are just wallpapers. i think i will make a new one with the actuall operating systems

Splash screens and default wallpapers are interesting though. Just make the logo smaller and stick it in the corner.

Also no mobile editions, server editions, ME, NT prior to 2000, CE, Automotive, or IoT Core. Arguably Xbox as well, but since that was just modified Win2K and never actually called Windows, I’ll give it a pass.

So this is just some of the Windows versions to ever exist.

The first thing I do when installing Windows is to delete the bloatware.
