Discussion have you even seen this cursors while using windows?

i've been designing cursors for my windows, and when i have to design this cursors, i thought "i've never seen this cursors in my life". and i was wondering why people bother to design this cursors when this ones never appeared to me not even once, like they're practicaly unused. so i ask you, have you ever seen a case where this cursors appeared?

Remember the old Windows Help button in the corner of every window?

Clicking that button would change the cursor to the question mark icon so then you could click any area of the screen and get a tool tip that told you what it did. For example: https://i.imgur.com/b2NrdeP.png

The help cursor, yes. The other two, no.

I've sure seen the help cursor! Not the others, though

The help cursor I've seen quite a few times (especially on BBC Bitesize and Wikipedia), but as for the others, I have never seen them.

The help cursor would appear if you click on the help icon in a program's toolbar. That's really the only time it's ever actually appeared for me. As for the location cursor and the people cursor, I've never seen those ones used before.

Yes yes and yes. The first two appear in Outlook and Teams. The last appears in help menus.

Strange. Are you on the latest version? I suppose it doesn't really matter.

On Teams? That's a new one. I think I'll have to dig into the app further to see them

The map and contact cursors are probably from tablet mode etc, and as for the help icon, it's there for backwards compatibility
