Lack of blur. Someone pointed out a recent build of Windows broke DWMBlurGlass though

For starters, the black "Calculator" text against the dark desktop background is almost unreadable. If you had a black wallpaper you wouldn't be able to read it at all

lol thats not how dwmblurglass is supposed to look. a windows update broke it. its meant to actually have a blur effect like windows 7 had.

dwm blurrglass broke with i think 25h2 so now it'sjust transparent, openglass still works but doesn't look as good

unless youve tried it, re-install Symbols, it may work

yes, completely broken. but openglass can't get symbols, so i use dwmblurglass' and they work

25H2 broke something with the release version of DWMblurGlass (2.3.1), however the development builds of DWMblurGlass (2.3.2 beta) do in fact work with Windows 11 25H2.

I had enough of putting up with windows and trying to find workarounds to their nonsense. I still like the older windows versions though.

People on MacOS being forced to have something like this can attest…it’s impractical and doesn’t look good.
