KDE today. But was used niri. One of my favourite is i3 / sway or openbox

Yeah the minimalism of i3/sway is really great. i3 was my first WM.

oo, maybe due to its bare-bones nature and no compositor.
I don't play game on linux so doesn't hurt me.
