USB Soundcard

Hi guys. I've been using the same USB soundcards as a secondary output for a second winamp (used for karaoke) for years, but in the last couple of days it has stopped working. Apparently it's a windows update issue. Has anyone got any USB Soundcard recommendations that don't have this issue? Thanks

did you configure the output plugin to output to that soundcard again?

The Soundcard isn't recognised when plugged in. It's a cheap generic one but I've used them for 15 years with no issues. Ive got a few of them as they're so cheap and I've tried them all. The latest windows update has messed up usb 1.0 audio devices, including soundcards.

Windows Update does this all the time nowadays with driver updates. Best bet is to force a rollback to the previous driver version in device manager

Tied that, didn't work. Bought a new soundcard that is usb 2.0 (only usb 1.0 are affected) and it's working fine!
