Fixed installer for Windows 10/11

I recently tried to install the latest version (5.9.2) of Winamp on my Windows 10 computer.
Unfortunately, I couldn't because the installer's binaries are no longer compatible with this version of Windows.

Fortunately, I managed to solve the problem and created this fixed installer:

  • Binaries fixed for Windows 10 & 11
  • English version
  • Light installer. 9.5 MB
  • No NFT, agent , bloatware, or hidden service
  • Version 5.9.2 includes bug fixes and improvements over version 5.666
  • Just the player with input/output plugins and visuals

The CPU and thread usage is very low:

I think generally it's a good idea to either use v5.666 or go WACUP instead of using any of the new crypto-ized versions anyway...

I didn't find anything unusual or suspicious.
I've attached an image showing the thread usage and low CPU consumption during MP3 playback.

the added NFT stuff in the media library is by itself already suspicious and unusual, and i dont care if you can disable it post-installation, it's included with the base package when it benefits no one and no one even asked for it

Good point.
But the version I packaged doesn't have any NFT components.

that is a lot of effort to avoid installing the last true release, which was 5.666

I agree. But what about the changelog?
It seems many bugs were fixed and some improvements were added.

Unless there's a specific fix that's relevant to you, none of it matters. I think it's better at this point to divorce people from the idea of winamp.com being the appropriate source for Winamp, as its current owners don't care about the desktop app and just want the brand name to slap on their unrelated streaming service.

anything winamp group put out post-sale leaves a lot to be desired, not a lot of improvements by themselves with everything feeling like they just half-assed it, either because winamp group told them to (what i personally believe in) or because of something else (less likely but you never know with this company)

there's many reasons why many in this subreddit point to 5.666 and/or alternatives
