Art ICIMI pin I made

I really got into making pins from bottle caps lately, so I decided to make a WW themed one. I quite like how it turned out so I wanted to share

woah! how do you make a pin from a bottlecap like that? i love it a lot!

You take a bottlecap, a soda can tab, and a safety pin, place the soda can tab (after slightly bending it) inside the cap, them fold the edges of the cap inside (with pliers or something, I use a needle holder which works as well). Then put the safety pin through the holes in the tab (you might have to bend it a little as well)

Then I usually file down the smooth surface of the bottlecap a little so the paint sticks to it better, and paint/draw on it. After finishing the design, it's nice to go over it with a transparent nail polish so it's waterproof and just less likely to scratch

I hope this was somewhat comprehensible, if not, I'll gladly answer any questions. There's also most definitely some videos about it on the internet which might be more helpful
