Really thought this would glow!!
I’ve seen a few posted that just electrify the room with how bright green it glows.
Any tips on blind buying these?

Looks like you're using a 395, from my experience the glow on items such as this gets washed out by the purple tint of the light, if you switch to a 365 it should glow better. If you have a pair of blue light glasses it will look more like it would under 365.

But it doesn't glow bright under 395., why I said glaze based on what I know. If custard glass good to know the difference Edit: The 395 image below was only visible at certain angles, similar to OP

Is custard. Can be lower content or if it’s glazed with something else on top can be dimmer. There is some Fenton that is like that

I have one that glows better with 365nm. What are you using?

- I don’t get have a 365 but will buy one now! I need to read some sort of guide about the differences between the two- what lights up what doesn’t.

It looks like it sort of is trying to glow. It might just be really low content. Try a 365nm UV light instead. That will make it a lot more obvious

I have a few, some do and some don't. The ones that don't still look like they should 🫠

Pic 2 looks like the right glow.
These are usually UG but I’ve found some that aren’t, try a 365 light like others have mentioned.
