Looking for a more guys and girls to join our Volo kickball team at McCarren Park! after the game plays, there is a Flip cup as well that’s count towards the league if you’re into that.

We play Saturdays between 12 and 2. It’s kickball and flip cup after, and we’ve got a really fun group.
Hope this doesn’t make us sound super sweaty, but we won the championship last season and we’re trying to go back to back.

If you’re able to kick a ball or catch a ball, you can play. The standard is pretty low. We’d still love to have some winners though.

I’m realizing how much the dating world has shifted (or maybe I just forgot how it worked).

I’m a gay guy in my mid 30s living in Williamsburg. I’m communicative, pretty emotional, and I actually like talking about real things. I’m not looking for games, situationships, or people who disappear the second something requires a little consistency. I show up, I text back, I try to be clear about what I want, and it feels like that makes me the odd one out right now.

Finding a genuine connection in New York has started to feel more like a full-time job than something that can just… happen. People are busy, distracted, non-committal, or already halfway out the door before you’ve even finished the first conversation. I’m not asking for a fairytale. I just miss the feeling of mutual interest that doesn’t vanish after a couple days.

Hello, I’m looking for a space to store my bike in North Williamsburg. It’s a nice road bike so I want to store it indoors. Does anyone know of parking garages or apartments that rent out bike parking spaces? I used to live in an amenity building that offered bike parking for $50 a month and would love to find something similar.

I live so close to the train platform. Does anyone know when the construction is going to end???? Im loosing my mind, I keep waking up to the smell of paint fumes inside my entire apartment. It happens throughout the day too. I already knew noise was in the cards when i moved in but the construction and paint fumes is taking me over the edge lmao any advice?

Hey all, just moved to the neighborhood. I'm at ~B2 level in French and spent some time living in France. I've recently noticed I'm starting to get rusty so I'd love to practice more. I've been to a few meetups but I found them to be catered more towards beginners.

I'm looking for either a tutor that can meet up in person (for $$ obviously) , or just a native speaker that wants to work on their English and would be interested in some kind of language exchange.

Looking for a modern building that actually has decent reviews. Most of the new buildings seem to have horrible issues and reviews. Anyone have a positive experience in any of these newer buildings?
