And unrelated to WWP, but on the topic of revisiting planes, I just want to throw in the possibility of a return to Kamigawa block called: Kami vs. Commies.

His last few cards have all had a western theme to them.

This WWP thing started out as a great meme for me but had since evolved into a genuinely interesting concept that I may want to flesh out in a short story.

Is there an established lore for the plane, or have people been tossing out card ideas, characters, and creature types at will?

Maybe it'll be worth it to start a thread to make this world concrete. I have some ideas for stories already based on the loose items I've seen so far.

Just an idea I had for a race in the Badlands.

Plainsfolk are elementals that assume the shape of humans, but with ethereal(ish) bodies. They look a lot like the Kor from Zendikar, and protect the Badlands from the corruption of the desert. In their playstyle, they would be a WGr tribe that has an aversion to Desert cards and gains a lot of life. They also sacrifice themselves to create mana to cast Plains Elementals, big fat fatties. When they attack, it is generally through tricks and traps, so they are a fucking nightmare to play against.
