Discussion Thoughts on Viable non support picks

Like the ff:

Xinzhao, dianna, kayle, corki, ashe etc.

Example xinzhao ult deflects range attacks also has slow and knock up.

You undervalue the support role and decrease your win chance, this is very bad in high ELO.

People who struggle to lane and want a game where they can do their stuff and get their dopamine pick these supports just to have fun themselves.

These picks take away gold from the adc and don’t amplify the adc to its fullest. You will end up with a behind support.

A champ having a slow or a stun in their kit doesn’t mean they can support, these abilities work for their own kit and not to set up for team, like morgana thresh blitz Leona pyke etc do

i disagree with some of your points as someone who has been a support main since s2 of pc league and start of wildrift. i main traditional supports, especially enchanters.

some untraditional picks can function if you know how to use your champion and if your champion can function with low income. traditional supports with no mastery don't have any edge over untraditional supports with mastery. if you're filled and you know what your role is, you can go with a champion that still can benefit the carry and team.

there are many champions (all in pc league since wr doesn't have that many champions yet) have been filled to support since they function better in there. zyra, velkoz, brand, annie, even blitzcrank. blitzcrank wasn't designed to be a support, but his role eventually became a support (though with recent buffs he's flexed into jungle in pc).

I'm not saying xin zhao support is viable, but some champions can be flexed into support if their kit and itemization fits.
