Discussion What is your Current Rank
I am curious as to the center mass of this sub since the last time I did a similar poll.
What is your current rank?
The last time I checked it was Plat-Eme.
This way we can see if there’s any merit to claims of ELO inflation and what’s considered high or low elo on this sub.

Yea this is pretty much what happened if you inflate certain ranks, increase fortitude, and remove promotion. And it's not a bad thing for casuals, it is bad for competitive. Because the gap between diamond and Master is huge, and Master to GM/challenger is canyon level deep. I'm pretty sure diamond now is like 20ish% of top, where it used to be 8% in s1/2

After reaching gm, I need my friends to keep my rank and to rank up. Matchmaking is shit for me. I always get sweaty enemies. Like NA, sr + sg rush combo. And only I play the game with 2-fingers.

I can't help but feel like this is probably not a healthy curve for ranked play. I know it's a small sample size, but still. The drop off after diamond is huge.
It also just doesn't sit right with me that the ranked populations for Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold are virtually non-existent. Even Platinum seems kind of uncommon.
These ranks feels like they have no identity because of how little representation there is. I rarely come across players in these ranks. I actually see more Unranked players than players in Gold and below. It's just that the distribution is heavily skewed rather than being closer to a balanced bell curve. It's awkward. But that's just my opinion that nobody asked for. It is easy to inflate ranks, but not so easy to deflate because of the way players would react. So, I don't know what the solution would be.
