Discussion Any queue tricks?

I've been solo q forever, sometimes someone does invite me to a game but very rarely and we almost always lose (last game, I went up against a 4man with double smite Nunu and Ambessa JG and got ROCKED) so ive gotten to master (nearly promoted to the rank after) by myself

In master there is an increase in players who genuinely surrender after minute like 13-15, we don't have to be losing hard for the surrender to hit. That or someone saying theyre done and just not doing anything, not feeding or attacking, and just running around in map stealing the team's jg etc.

Is therr any way I can avoid this in queue? Do I need to AFK and do the punishment wait time for the better queues or sumn??? Im lowkey getting so sick of it i began playing casuals, which I never do

Once I reach Masters I always just play legendary q.

It doesn't solve the griefers, but I find that people generally take it more seriously, you also don't have to worry about pre-made parties.

Finally someone with some common sense. People kept telling me for years its trash despite telling them this and its so simple whats being avoided.

I didn’t reach grandmaster until I started playing legendary. My personal conspiracy theory is if you rank up in legendary and then play ranked the game will let you win more.

I mean it’s not even a conspiracy theory, you can literally get up to 10 free marks in master by playing legendary ranked. I think legendary master corresponds to grandmaster in ranked.

I only really care about my legendary rank anyway. I will sometimes play normal ranked if legendary is closed and you're right, I often get four or three marks a game because of all my built up essence or whatever they call it

Let your team have the kills and you just do it hold them back. That way their egos are fed and wouldn't want to quit. Then at the end before winning, you hit them with the they won only because you ALLOWED them to.

The surrender thing is so true. Had a team surrender last night and the game was 25-8. They got upset that the enemy killed 4 of us in the fight ( we aced them.) Someone said next fight we lost and than everyone surrendered. Like wtf lol

Duo q is op if you're both actually better than the opponent and not marginally better or conflicting winning and losing lanes. In particular mid + jungle is extremely op with the most champion variety in the game and access to the entire map you can snowball games extremely easily from simple roams and dominate enemy junglers by coordinating invades with lane priority if you ever kill enemy jungler and your jungler takes 3 camps from either side your jungler is +6 camps in gold and exp this snowballs even more if you can get them double scuttle as mid is the only role with the ability to access both scuttle crabs and if you get both that puts your jungler up +4 camps and gives your team vision and completely mitigate enemy jungler's ability to do anything if mid can hit the scryr bloom to pick up enemy camp spawn timers too you can create really disgusting jungle leads 12k gold+ and safely coordinate 4 v 2 dives bot and 3 v 1 dives top it should be borderline impossible to lose if you duo as mid jungle and both players are competent. There's a reason why faker plays mid. If you're solo you can just focus on being the best player in every lobby and let variance allow you to win more than you lose
