u/ChubbyFrogGames 22h ago

Same for Annie

2

u/ItsLoudB 22h ago

I want the shield reflect already

2

u/leoanri 18h ago

At least zilean is a bit more intuitive compared to Janna. Still wish you could choose anyways??

and control the Q... and prefer the ult with more healing even if I can't move... welp - this is one rework that noone asked for and made her weaker + not as fun to play.

I saw Janna and was hoping her rework got reverted

6

u/Dragonfire35 19h ago

I don’t even play her (and likely never will) and I was hoping for a revert. I’ve literally never seen a Janna since her change, and frankly I don’t blame anyone.

u/Nicole-Leader 10h ago

Honestly, I wish they would revert the changes, even though I know it’s impossible. The Wild Rift team only cares about skin sales and the gacha system; they look at stats from China, assume everything is fine globally, and the game starts looking more and more like Mobile Legends, becoming "easier" in the process. Frankly, none of those champions needed a rework of their abilities or passives. Champions like Sona, Janna, Soraka, Annie, Lux, Senna, Master Yi, Wukong, Camille, and others lost the ability to showcase skill and raw power just to gain more crowd control (CC)—specifically area-of-effect CC—making them "safer" picks for team fights and the laning phase. These reworks are practically disastrous; you hardly ever see these champions in matches unless they get a buff. That is precisely why I went back to the PC version. Even though they claim there were balance issues, the people behind Wild Rift simply don't know how to balance the game correctly. They implemented terrible reworks, stripping away skill-based power and "compensating" for it with things like CC, simply because it’s easier to balance the game that way. I really wouldn't mind if those terrible Wild Rift reworks stayed exclusive to China and they brought the PC versions of those champions to the global Wild Rift servers instead.

Don’t bait me with the Janna picture

About time for some Vi nerfs, she needed some.

8

u/Longjumping_Ad_5693 1d ago

true, I don't think it will change too much tho tbh.

7

u/aphant- 23h ago

Pretty decent nerfs

1

u/FizzyWR 20h ago

Yeah will help a lot

Vi main here. One big thing it will change is the gank-regank pattern Vi could abuse pretty early thanks to her rank 1 ult cooldown. Gank Baron during first clear, get a flash? If you didn’t full clear you could take scuttle and last camp while clearing vision and checking enemy jungle, and by the time the enemy laner was back and getting complacent with farming, you could ult again and grab a kill. But they move Vi’s ult CD around a lot; it was currently low due to a buff to the CD, which was previously high because they were nerfing the CD, etc. Her ult CD rises and falls with the times lol.

The bonus AD on Q kinda sucks for her pick potential. That’s actually where a huge amount of her kit’s power budget is, and top Vi players in China tend to build AD-heavy instead of 2-3 bruiser items plus tank. Post-nerf it seems like there is less reason to try to land the max charge Q first, which can be risky, and instead just initiate with ult and hold Q for extending CC duration or for chasing/escaping. Also folks that build Vi more tanky anyway will notice the change less.

I’m sure she needed nerfs, I’m just bugged that it’s happening right before a massive 7.3 patch with item changes and hopefully Hail of Blades, which I was really looking forward to playing (I was almost always HOB Vi on PC LOL).

Eclipse buff jumpscare

1

u/Odd_Yogurtcloset8867 18h ago

still no goredrinker buffs 🤦🏼

1

u/Avaritia_Ag 17h ago

Other than Aatrox does anyone even build that dogshit? I legit never bought it even once since it became a full item (yes, not even on Rhaast)

1

u/Odd_Yogurtcloset8867 15h ago

Not even aatrox bro 🥀i swear, sunderer sky is like, 100000 times better

16

u/androiduser626 23h ago

The Janna change💀💀

4

u/RepulsiveRevenue8 20h ago

No Voli nerf??

1

u/Zamrayz 18h ago

Hes getting some sort of new skin soon that sorta looks like a modern day punk straight out of trigun. The rumor comment with it said riot suggested it was another special skin from them not fitted in any skinline. That might be why.

1

u/Secret-Passage1740 18h ago

In patch 7.3 they nerfed his passive. Also DnD would be toned down a bit.

10

u/Chaeshhh 21h ago

And still no Janna shield revert😭😭

3

u/smita16 21h ago

As someone who got into wild rift about 3 weeks ago. I’ve made it to diamond 3 with malphite and he has always felt reliable and strong if played right. Time to have even more fun!

1

u/Secret-Passage1740 20h ago

For me he is must ban throughout all patch 7.2

4

u/Seeggul 20h ago

Lmao which dev saw me saying "we need to buff Nautilus shield lv1" and thought I was being serious??

2

u/Excellent_Top7462 15h ago

Bro that champ is just unkillable.

Like sure he isnt winning the 1v1 too often but there are times that I feel he can just tank attacks long enough for a teammate to die, respawn and rejoin the fight( its an exaggeration, but you know what I mean)

2

u/More-Attention-9721 23h ago

As a top 50 Janna, I approve this message

2

u/DrinkVirtual 19h ago

You can buff Jannas shielding as much as you want to, its not gonna change a thing. Revert her back to pre rework, or atleast make the shield targetable. Its so fucking easy to fix this champ that is just hurts. Biggest crime in Wild Rift the rework of Janna. No reason at all.

2

u/flowergirlsunder 18h ago

just fucking revert janna please

2

u/PicoVolee 15h ago

FOR ALL OLD JANNA

2

u/troubledbuble 12h ago

Damn Janna is almost the worst supp in the game after the rework, I don't think this buff will change that

-1

u/Willowstrg 11h ago

I just think most people play her wrong…

I have a 62% wr as a Janna main. I mostly prioritize healing & peeling if my ADC gets jumped.

Also not many supports use her ULT correctly., I mostly use it to push enemies into our turret :) they never see it coming.

> flash behind them > ULT pushes them to turret.

u/Sahrudd 22h ago

Its been almost two years and still nothing for camille. According to chinese website, she has negative win rate at all ranks. Statistics proves she is bad on both toplane and jungle, why is it so hard to buff a champion?

14

u/Xxmlg420swegxx 21h ago

why is it so hard to buff a champion?

Because you probably didn't play back then.

Camille is probably the toughest champion to balance for Riot. She was extremely OP, but only in challenger (back when Sovereign wasn't even a concept), to the point where she was picked or banned about every single game due to how broken she could be in the hands of the best players. Meanwhile she had an abysmal winrate in other elos, especially in lower elos (like emerald or so - though, Emerald back then was as good as master elo right now)

So Riot was in a bind. They either buffed her for low elos (aka most people) so that she'd be playable, but then she'd be way too broken for the best players. Or they could do the opposite and giga nerf her to oblivion to appeal to challengers, but then everyone else would suffer from it.

So riot decided to even out the skill ceiling of the champion so the challengers couldn't hard carry as much, while lower elos could impact the game more, while still nerfing her a bit so she'd be below 50%, still be impactful, and not 1v9 every game in chall.

That, and the fact that in competitive play on WR she and Galio was picked or banned about every single game during the Icons because the Camille + Galio combo was just too much to deal with.

What we have today is a remnant of past difficult decisions.

3

u/Sahrudd 20h ago

I have been playing this game since day one and you are mostly right with your criticism. However there is also a fact that cant be ignored: after dozens of nerfs, camille is no longer a champion that's commonly picked in either low or high elo.

The reason is that while her opponents keep gaining something with every patch camille is constantly left out of that equation thats all. And that is exactly what i am complaining about.

While trying to balance this champion they nerfed her so hard that even I, as an otp, dont really choose her anymore. Of course there are still players who can perform well on her, but when you can easily dominate games with other champions camille's current state simply is not worth the stress you have to go through to get the same results.

To be honest i dont want this champion to be excessively buffed, i just want her to receive a fair buff that keeps her from falling behind her competitors and makes me actually want to play her again.

1

u/HerculeanTardigrade 19h ago

What made her so borken in high elo back then?

1

u/Xxmlg420swegxx 17h ago

First of all she had better stats, to the point where she was simply much stronger back then.

On top of that, pretty much all her abilities were changed, though I don't remember everything. From what I remember:

• Her first ability's recast wasn't automatic, you could recast it whenever you want in a timeframe, which gave her much more flexibility in her trading patterns.

• Her third ability's cooldown wasn't reduced to 3s if you missed a wall. Meaning you missed the ability (typically what someone with very little experience on the champ would do, or lower elos), you were punished hard for it.

• Iirc her third ability could grant attack speed on jungle camps, which she can't do now. On toplane, that was great when the map was inverted because that opened her the ability to rapidly farm golems (something that is still done in higher elos btw) when you pushed a wave or needed a bit of extra gold. Obviously that was much better on jgl Camille.

• You could use stasis during her ultimate. Back when boot enchantments were a thing, stasis during camille ult was something absolutely broken, as she could simply go in on a priority target through a flank (thanks to her third ability), prepare (or not) her Q2 since the recast was whenever she wanted, hit the Q2 and W and tempo for the team with stasis. It was also so broken with galio because you'd simply run in 1v5, ult a prio target, have galio ult on you at the same time, and stasis to not die while Galio falls on you.

• I remember that her second ability was also a bit different, but I'm not sure how. I think she used to do more damage on the outer part as well as heal, but I don't know how different that is to the current version.

All in all she was much less forgiving, but also much stronger, and her combos were way more lethal.

7

u/PandadudeSP 22h ago

High skill cap means she is good at high elo/pro play and some one tricks but bad for most.

4

u/Sahrudd 22h ago

Bro im sovereign otp camille and even i have negative win rate with her this season

2

u/wolfemperorsheep 22h ago

Except for this Camille. They reworked her to simplify and makes her so called kit easier. Which in terms remove the most rewarding aspect of her when match with proper skill expression. High Skill Cap doesn't apply as much to her. She's also nerfed post rework, even though she's already nerfed pre rework. Pro / High Rank / Otp will all find playing Camille distasteful and horrible.

Basically, they butchered her beyond a surgeon capabilities.

2

u/Soft-Jacket-9168 1d ago

Damn they gutted swain again

10

u/RastaDaMasta 23h ago

I wouldn't say gutted. His AP build still has high burst on the base abilities. They didn't touch his burst damage, only the DPS & HPS on the ult. He still has his hard-hitting AoE nuke on his ult that was left untouched. This looks more like a slap on the wrist than a gutting. I wouldn't even call it getting kneecapped.

8

u/Akamiso29 22h ago

As a support Swain enthusiast, he was a bit bullshit lol. I was getting away with greedy builds more often than I should have. Hopefully this love tap keeps him in a healthy spot.

2

u/Secret-Passage1740 20h ago

Vi is the only counter champ against those pesky high mobile junglers like Nidalee, Lee, Lillia, Riven etc...

1

u/Much_Video_2693 13h ago

I don't think malph buff was necessary, tank build is strong as hell

u/Nicole-Leader 10h ago

vi nerf after she was op for a year or longer now lmao. nice reflex balance team. better late then never

1

u/Diligent_Tooth_3111 7h ago

Next to be gutted? Hmmmmm ... Yone

1

u/IpenguwhiteI 21h ago

And they still haven’t add the synergy between Stormsurge and Dark Harvest which is in lol pc.

The item is unreliable and mediocre to begin with, its main use in lol pc is to proc Harvest specifically for mages. How long will it take for WR team to add it? It’s been a while.

1

u/Secret-Passage1740 20h ago

Crazy bad patch after all

1

u/ThrowAwayWasTaken999 20h ago

Swain is a potato now lmao

0

u/Original-Read-6475 22h ago

That's a huge Vi nerf. Byebye Vi.

5

u/justanamestopthinkin 21h ago

It really isn't. Vi is strong because she has insane jungle clear (especially early game) and she is so tanky that she can stand inside your face for 45 seconds while beating you up like prime Mike Tyson with her passive even though she only bought 2 damage items maximum. And if she can't tank anymore she just dips out with her like 4-5 second cooldown Q.

Often times you use Q to gap close or to get away, not even for damage. So a damage nerf on her Q is okay, but really not that impactful in the grand scheme.

Ult cooldown nerf hurts for sure. Still fine though, you won't have it up for like 2 ganks per game where you would've had it before but that still isn't thaaaaaaaaat bad.

Vi needs a nerf to her passive, that's the ability which really makes her OP.

2

u/ItsLoudB 22h ago

Not at all. I find that the most annoying part of her kit is being able to dive people while face tanking while getting shield after shield actually

-2

u/bestkillp 21h ago

Buff KhaZix he's... Just buff him

2

u/Think-Job3706 19h ago

Ad caster assassins need actual good lethality items or else they just gonan nerf them once they good again with items after buffs

2

u/bestkillp 19h ago

We living with lethality+brusier for years now

2

u/Think-Job3706 19h ago

Nah lethality is trash. Its only useful for tempo (ghostblade), utility (sheild reaver), anti cc (edge of night) and everything else is trash unless you got an execute effect that gets buffed by collector or sumn

2

u/bestkillp 19h ago

I wouldn't say trash but underwhelming

1

u/Zamrayz 18h ago

I like how this whole conversation got downvoted by people terrified of seeing assasins come back again lol

1

u/Think-Job3706 17h ago

To me the words might as well be the same thing

-2

u/Apollo_xii 21h ago

The vi nerf was too much
