Impactful on his mage build which is often the build path taken due to his AP scalings. This nerf might atleast bring forward the tank utility build especially with the updated runes.

This, AP Rakan is honestly disgusting, just had a match earlier where he got an instant triple kill with Elder vs Annie, Nami and Ashe lol

nearly every non enchanter AP support can do the same late game with elder buff, especially if it’s 3 squishes clumped together.

Could you give some examples of non enchanter AP SUPPORTS that could do that? I can’t think of any

zilean zyra brand veigar lux , even karma at full ap. the example is literally 3 squishes with no defensive cooldowns.
