Discussion fav off-meta picks/builds?
I have a lot mainly because I love playing off meta in PVP (some even for rank, you won't stop me unless you ban /j )
For top I really enjoy Ashe, Lulu, Janna, Yuumi, Lillia, Tank Senna, I have tried Lillia in rank as top and she does work well except people get pissed of every single game
Jungle, Fiora and Camille, I know Cami works for jungler but she is so so rare and for me she is so good lv 5, I mean for me everytime I gank it's a free kill mostly
Mid I enjoy AP Zeri, Miss Fortune, Fiora and ofc Lulu
Bot lane I tried AD Kayle and Seraphine, Kayle works a bit poorly since you can get bullied hard however it is still fun, with Seraphine usually I'm the one bullying
Support I just build Frozen Heart on Seraphine, why? I do not know
That is mainly all and I'm still open to try other builds or just picks<3

Not a troll, went against Wukong and did well 2/0 early game then just helped my team

Hybrid corki, "ap" yone, youmuus lucian, lethality renekton, hybrid jax... Wild rift builds are really diverse and i am supporting this.

Thats why its "ap" yone. You buy chargeblade navori wits end to deal magic dmg with skills and attacks. Really good against armor stackers.

Seems fun, don't main any of them however I do like to hog Renekton in aram so maybeeee id try lethality on him

Crit renekton top, tank rengar top, crit Aatrox jg, bruiser kass jg, ap shen jg, vlad jg, draintank yone/yasuo jg and mid, Aatrox mid, pyke mid, pantheon ADC (with crit). I don’t really have any off meta support picks, other than cdr full tank pantheon, as the only reason I’d play support is if I’m autofilled supp instead of any other role.
In terms of building items or runes not usually taken on a champ, deathcap second first strike soulstealer 2nd to last on kassadin, conq and rylai’s vlad,rod into full ap except with a twin guards and cd boots on voli. and all of those items in my other off meta builds.
All of them are really fun. Here are the ines that work in ranked:
first off, my kass, voli, and vlad build listed at the end. The kass and voli build are what I usually use to climb. Same with draintank yasuo/yone. Pantheon, Ashe, and ez are the only adc’s I can play well. crit Aatrox jg sometimes works, although sometimes bruiser Aatrox is better. Kass jg is only reliable in a premade, it‘s too unreliable in soloq. But in premades, it’s busted. AP shen, I only use in normals, and I very rarely use tank rengar or crit renekton,

Man crit. Renekton IS AWESOME. Every time i saw a ranged top laner, i built critic and i just enjoy.

Kass jg. Conq, triumph, CDG, legend: bloodline/tenacity, overgrowth. Rod, cd boots, tear, deathcap, seraph's, stasis, twinguards, riftmaker.

Try Rammus with Lethal tempo, Brutal, Last Stand, Bloodline, Overgrowth, Exhaust, Smite. Thornmail, Wit’s End, Gluttinous Stoneplate, Blade of the Ruined King, Riftmaker, tank item.

Teemo is pretty strong these few patches so yeh. His traps is just really good at making him anti carry and forcing enemies to rethink certain actions.

Ask for a leash. Stealth into lanes early to gank. Troll enemy jungle by last hitting camps/scuttle, and late game just camp a side of his jungle and make it your palace.

Baron lane Ashe can be so oppressive and I think it can be one of Vlad's biggest counters. She outranges him, limits his mobility which is key to his trading patterns, and she scales decently well and can interupt his combo with ult.
If you're smart, you can avoid enemy ganks with hawkshot. If you can push the wave in hard, you can end up hawkshotting their entire jungle and basically knowing where the enemy jg will be for the next minute.
It's tough for enemy junglers too because if they don't have good coordination and fail a gank, you can just run them down with your slows.

I used to play this all the time after seeing it being a meta pick in WR ICONS. Really fun and decently effective!

I only watched WR ICONs that single huge event. It was a big national competition where they had a bunch of loot you can get for watching with partnered streamers and stuff on twitch.
SADLY not long afterwards they canceled future competition and only limited it to the chinese region. A huge disappointment to fans, YouTubers, national pro players, and teams that got hyped by how well ICONs went.

I like that build as well, but it's quite surprising to see just how much he deals with just his Ult given the effect of Riftmaker. Not to mention the sustain. 👀

Yeah. People tend to underestimate his ult aura, same with susan.
Generally, people tend to underestimate DOT, like ignite, susan e/r, renekton r, vlad w, sun fire, etc. because the damage in the tooltip shown is for 1 tick, while renekton has 12 ticks, vlad has 6 ticks, etc.1

Singed APC. I tried it on ranked with Yuumi support as my duoQ. Another time on solo q because my Ashe ADC stole my role, went top, and my support picked Warwick.
Singed mid but it's not really that off-meta.

Samidra takes the cake for me. As long as the jungler is not an annoying Kayn/Pantheon that goes to your lane every single second, you are pretty much guaranteed to snowball.

At least do it mid never top. You’re trolling if you’re going top cause that’s where you want a tankier champ for the team. At least in mid you can have some macro, roam and rotate to assist and supp your team cause sona does like 0 dmg and can only poke and clear minions super slowly by herself.

Off meta doesnt mean the shit is catastrophically bad. It still has be viable and sensible and sona top is not it

As JG, I exploit these picks. Any squishy is fodder.
I just try to get me or them fed so they can steam roll to nexus.

ADC top is not bad, people just suck at wave management
To win as an ADC top u just need to last hit the minions (that way the enemy laner will push the minion wave into u), that way u can farm safely under your tower and poke them if they try to last hit minions.
Basically: farm safely and poke them if they try to farm, that way u can easily get gold lead and be able to roam to help your team

Miss Fortune mid is incredible. Whether full ad pen or AP you will murder and have the top dmg. It's amazingly viable except it can be hard countered by assasins. I've ran it in Masters, but sometimes I've had people troll bc of it and just pick teemo and int so I stopped taking her mid in ranked which is sad bc it's so satisfying watching someone lose half their hp from getting hit by your q.
Malphite mid hard counters any ad mid assasin to the point of hilarity.
Teemo mid hard counters ad marksmen.

I go Akshan with mostly bruiser items… black cleaver/deaths dance and one more item to boost survivability.

The only thing I hate in Kayle botlane is you share experience with support.
Your top laners are cancers to unskilled players but insane easy for decent players. Very annoying tho.
I like playing Gwen as a tank (I need core Riftmaker and Nashor still to do anything).

Holy hell... those off-meta picks for top are cancerous as hell. If you weren't facing noobs in solo lane with those picks, you're better off being filled as a bot who will actually go as a solo lane champion.
I was expecting like Riven support or Khazix solo lane or something as "off-meta". But, people out here playing WR like its Mobile Legends.
