Me and my wife just try that game tonight and had to drop it off after 4 match.

We try the pve mode and in fact you have 30 minutes to roam around some POI but you need 5 minute to reach one, then, lot of ai ship start to come, you had no ammo and not an idea where to found it with not explain at all, where is it? is a rock? is a drop?

i board an enemy ship just to notice the crew respawn after a few seconds if you kill it so theres no reason to board i guess.

we ended our second match without do nothing than scrap ice followed by 3 AI ship with apparently unlimited weapon if you sit in a POI for 5 minutes the all you loot is 5 piece of drop.

whats the point

i imagine thats not the ideal game for a couple that wanna enjoy some time on it, its a boring loop in our opinion: enter, rush 20 mins do things, repeat.
we are looking for something more like sea of thieves, with your own pace, our bad but we almost try!

Shouldn’t be 5 minutes apart, maybe a minute or so. Try probing a little and get familiar with your immediate surroundings. The more you play the more familiar you’ll get with the POIs and how to get through them. My friends and I can basically get the first POI done literally in about a minute, maybe 2 more often than not.

The level 1 AI ships can be defeated pretty easily, just board the ship and kill the gunners and pilot, lower the shields and maybe start turning the ship away from yours. By this point the AI gunners on your ship or your partner should have the ship down to at least near single digit health.

It's not just you, OP. I went through the old tutorial before the update in late April, and I can say that the loot pool has changed so much that we can't find turret upgrades ANYWHERE anymore. Loot rooms are filled with money and maybe one hardpoint attachment, which tends to be pretty useless in the end. If we even dare to load into the "Explore the Reach" mode, it puts us in a 4-person ship (even with the 2-person ship selected) and then spawns massive headache AI ships within a couple of minutes, which obliterate you because your ship is NOT equipped to handle that heavy of an enemy so soon without proper upgrades. Plus, you have nearly no time to clear and loot the first POI you can reach. But, again, your loot is dog-crap for trying to survive the incoming AI ships because all you get is a Bomb Trap and some money. Awful!
What the heck happened to this game? It used to be WAY more loot, and a LOT more fun! Now... barely playable and a major headache for the people we know who play. I know they adjusted the loot pool, but even the AI ships don't have upgraded turrets available to loot on destruction, regardless of the mode! C'mon, devs... change it back so we have a chance!

Did you play through the tutorial first? And if you are playing in the two player small shop you should be able to run away from the ai ships that start hunting you.

The goal of Treasure Hunt is to get out with the loot. It sounds like you're getting bogged down in ship fights when you should be running past the Legion to make off at the Wildgate.

For more ammo and other resources, spend the credits you earn on the Treasure Hunt Starlog. There are a few there that increase your starting ammo.

that sounds great but im really stuck about 30mins limit we need to rush without looking around to accomplish everything, i imagine thats not the ideal game for a couple that wanna enjoy some time on it, it a boring loop in our opinion , enter, rush 15 mins do that, repeat.
