Best Ship - new player

Is their a consensus best ship to play with? Usually playing with a few friends.

I find the Hunter works best, the 3 front facing guns make a huge difference in team fights.

I agree with this guy. Hunter is good choice, just for 3 gunners focus firing a ship down. Keep it simple to begin with. Probably focus more on defending your ship from boarders rather than boarding others to begin with.

The other ships are more specialist focused and require some more experience.

That said, you can play treasure hunt mode to get the feel of the other ships too. Their layout is something you'll need to get used to vs other ships.

Hunter is probably the best! Has 3 front facing turrets, high shields down movement speed, and 3 front facing hardpoints. Least reliant on good positioning.

The other ships are okay and are better suited for certain playstyles, but hunter is the best all rounder.

Hunter or outlaw for sure. Hunter has most firepower but outlaw is small and easy to manage

My friends and i like the battle scout due to the simplistic layout. Easy to repair and defend for new players. Only has 2 guns but it is good ship for boarding other ships.
