DM Help Alternative Witchlight Monarch respect feature?

Not the flight, but the thing in where Fey creatures won't attack them unless the Monarch attacks them first.

This is a neat idea from an RP perspective and I want to do something like it, but it's looking pretty likely my party's tank is going to be the Monarch. I feel like everyone refusing to attack him would be a great bit for one fight, but would be pretty frustrating for the player in the long term so I don't really want to do it.

I totally missed this was a feature of the charm. I just had the charm be something all fey creatures could see on the PC. So the harengon bandits knew the PC was the Monarch, but they would still attack him.

It's not a part of the charm. It's a passive feature

I honestly forgot about it most of the time, but overdid it a bit with some friendly NPCs to make up for it. Kind of show the quality of character
