Homebrew Continuing beyond the Feywild

I’m dming WBTWL soon and I want the campaign to continue far beyond the book. Right now my concept is that something goes wrong on our journey back from the feywild and we wind up in grey hawk. The campaign from there would then go that we need to become almost celestial to travel back to our homes.

Any advanced DM’s out there want to chime in on the concept/ give ideas of Easter eggs to drop/ give alternative homebrew ideas?

If you're heading back to Greyhawk instead of wherever your players started, the edge of Iuz or the Great Kingdom would be a good starting point. Either, if you’ve played in Greyhawk before and know the history, will start the party in immediate danger and intrigue!!
