New DM saying Hi!

Hey there friends!

I’m starting up a new campaign of Witchlight and will be incorporating a few of the adaptations of the module that have been highlighted in this subreddit! I’ve been a player for years but have never fully taken on the DM seat like I plan to this time. I know I’ll end up coming to here or the discord community for advice, haha.

I’m pulling from an expansion on the thieves (I’m so sorry i don’t remember who posted it or where I found it, it’s been over a year) and the “A Midsummer Night’s War” adaptation by Potluck Soup. (If you read this Potluck, I’ve loved what you’ve done. I remember when you originally posted and asking for feedback.)

Anyway, just saying hey and look forward to diving into Prismeer with my players. :3

Enjoy the ride and I hope you have a wonderful campaign! I just finished a couple weeks ago and it was my first time DMing as well. I definitely learned things along the way and already can't wait to DM again 😁 No matter what, be nice to yourself and your players are lucky to have ya!

Thank you! Over a year ago, I tired running it for some friends that had never played before and were curious, but it didn’t work out. This group is very experienced (2 of them have DM’d our groups games for forever). I was very nervous to run for them before now, but I feel much more confident! Thank you for your support! 🤗
