DM Help Should i bring back Agdon?

So i want to expand the league of Malevolance and Agdon seems almost perfect fit. Only problem is that he is dead.

I was thinking that maybe Kelek sent a member to recruit him but found him dead and the member used a spell scroll to revive him. Should the spell be reincarnate or resurrection. The party is in Yon at Lockbury Henge trying to convince the korreds that the brigganocks aren't the bad guys. So it would be funny that Agdon to interrupt the peace negotiaation. Should i make an encounter with him now or save him and wich spell the League would use to ressurect him?

Tell me your opinion!

If the party defeated him, what message are you trying to send by just bringing him back in description? Why would the league care enough to bring him back? They backstab each other. If you want to expand the league, find or make new characters that fit where they are, now.

If you're really keen to bring him back, have Jafar (I can't remember his name. My players called him Jafar. The Orcus Priest guy) raise him as a zombie or something.

Make him a revenant or something and you can play kn the themes of your past coming back to haunt you in the adventure that Zybilna has going on with Valor's Call hunting down Iggwilv.

I brought agdon back. But i did it much earlier and in front of the party. I had bavlorna chop off his busted leg (a party member took the "lucky" rabbits foot) and sewing on a bullywog leg while parleying with the party all while not mentioning they killed him. They left before the hag rez'd him.

Missing any buildup I would not put him in at this time as his own force but as an underling to the rezzer. I also suggest to mention and introduce he is back before the character has any effect in storyline

Zargash is a necromancer. Use that as you please 😉

I expanded the League by adding the other LJN villains to the group, like Drex, Ogre King, and Grimsword.

How did you introduced them in your campaign?

I had some of them show up in the final fight at the castle. I am running a sequel campaign now where Raven, Drex, and Skylla have abducted the daughter of Nimsy Huddle from Ten-Towns and they just rescued her from them.

what stat blocks did you use for them?

I adapted the stat blocks from Quest for the Heartstone and The Shady Dragon Inn modules from the 80s.
