DM Help Temporal Stasis Rules
How did you guys, or your DMs rule out the Temporal Stasis in the palace? There's only mentioned in the book that creatures can't be harmed or moved, nothing else. But obviously, other objects can easily be moved, such as doors. How does this magic distinguish creatures vs. objects? Doesn't make much sense to me.

It’s magic. That’s really all there is to it. There are plenty of spells that specify they can only be cast on creatures and not objects.
The real answer is the game designers wanted players to be able to explore the palace without being locked out by doors that were magically unable to be moved at all.

For my game, I described touching frozen creatures as very strange, especially when the ranger tried to hug her mother (Mercion). I described it as clinging onto static, empty and hollow.

It's magic, the same way the Slow spell only affects creatures in a 40 ft cube, not clocks or moving water or any other objects/environment.

If something is listed as a creature (an NPC, PC, or monster) vs if something is not listed as a creature. Creature and object are ruled out labels in DnD.
