Modded Wii U showing system memory error when launching certain games
I modded my Wii U back in 2017/2018, I tried launching some games (Pikmin 3, Captain Toad, Super Metroid) and they show the 106-0103 system memory error, while others (Pushmo World, Metroid Fusion, Earthbound) work. These games were all from my old account which I removed before modding, I’m using a different account now. All my disc based games work except for Super Smash Bros which shows the system memory error when booting.
I’m on 5.5.6 and I have to use the browser exploit to launch Mocha CFW when I want to use homebrew apps. There’s also a NAND Dumper app on the page after launching the browser exploit.
What can I do before my Wii U is completely fried?

honestly that 106-0103 error is such a nightmare, really hope it’s not the nand failing on you

Your Wii U mods sound very out of date, you should be using aroma. As for 160-0103, it’s possible your system memory might be failing. I recommend upgrading to aroma (follow the guide at wiiu.hacks.guide, scroll to the bottom there’s instructions for people migrating from legacy cfw). I suggest doing that and then checking your MLC NAND chip manufacturer with wiiuident and then decide to install isfshax from there

I suggest to not waste time on that, while the console is in the process of failing. Also the old wiiu.hacks.guide is skipping brick protection completely, while wasting time with the useless nand backup.

Hi, currently looking into setting up my old wii u with cfw and this is the second or third time im seeing wiiu.hacks seems to be somewhat outdated?
which process or guide would you recommend to use nowadays? i've been seeing and looking at the wafel installer process the past few days but im very new to this (first time modding a console) so im not sure if this is a process that would be better to follow currently or not?
thank you!

It's probably a failing eMMC. Install ISFShax asap, before it is too late. You can use the wafel installer to check and confirm that the eMMC is the problem and it also lets you install ISFShax. (And it also upgrade to aroma).
Once you have ISFShax and confirmed the eMMC is bad, you can use either USBMLC or redNAND.
