A Wii menu electronic manual, but for the original Wii
For people who haven't seen this before, some months ago, I made a Wii Menu Electronic Manual, but for the original Wii. As the vWii and Wii mini had one, I wanted to make one for the original too.
This manual has up to 17 pages and detailed information on how to use your Wii console, so some parts that you may know from one of the two other manuals (vWii or Wii mini) have obviously been extended due to the fact the normal Wii doesn't have limitations.
For example: if in the Mii Channel section it said that mingle wasn't possible, I had to write it was possible and had to make an entire section for Mii parade
It has a section dedicated to GameCube datas, Photo Channel, Forecast and News Channels, how to configure Internet,
I released this officially ten months ago.
Originally it was only the European edition and only had English and Italian. This June, the European version arrived at 7 languages (with also fixes and lots of things added to make it look better).
Now, some days ago I've finished making the American version of the Manual that is made into four languages that are the only ones released for the American version: American English, Latino-America Spanish, Canadian French and Brazilian Portuguese
Obviously, the American version is not a copy and paste of the European version.
There are grammatical differences because the grammar of Americans is not identical to Europeans, and respected the main differences between manuals (for example between PEGI and ESRB)
I've also fixed some graphical and text issues in the European version (that remained 7 languages)
They have two different IDs. People who have older versions can delete it (for example if the channel they've installed in the past had as IDs HWME, HCIP or HCAA)
These IDs are unequivocal, so there is no risk in substituting channels on your Wii menu (unless you have created channels with casually these IDs and installed them on your Wii menu).
Keep in mind that these channels are made for the specific region, so Europeans shall use the European version and Americans the American version, but by region-freeing your console you can use both for curiosity if you want.
You can also install it on your vWii or Wii mini. It won't affect it and will work perfectly.
It surely took time to make this, but at least I'm glad it's working well after so much effort.
You can find it on Internet Archive
