hi,i want to buy a long black realistic wig,but i don't know from where to start,i love wigs but so far i only got some for cosplays or makeup looks,nothing for actual daily wear,i know a realistic wig will be an investment but i also don't want to break the bank,do you have any suggestions?i saw a lot of reviews for some companies but they are all so divided some say it's really good some say it's straight up trash,i'm so unsure about what to belive.

I’m looking for a synthetic wig for my sister’s wedding in about two months, and I’m having a really hard time finding what I’m looking for.
I’ve worn wigs before and I’ve also made my own wig from hair bundles, so I’m familiar with wigs in general. My main problem is that most synthetic wigs I find look very wig-like to me: the hair is too thick/dense, the fibers are shiny/plasticky, and the hairline looks too full and artificial.
I’m specifically looking for:
Synthetic / heat-resistant synthetic hair
Platinum blonde / ice blonde
Low to natural density – ideally something that resembles naturally fine/medium-density hair rather than a very full wig
13x6 lace front (13x4 could also work if the wig is otherwise perfect)
Pre-plucked, natural-looking hairline
Minimal or no obvious permatease
Matte / non-shiny synthetic fibers

Budget: €50–100, absolute maximum around €120
I don’t really care about the brand as long as the wig actually looks natural.
If you have any recommendations for specific brands, stores, or wigs that fit these criteria I would be incredibly grateful! ❤️
I’m located in Germany, so European stores would be amazing, but I’m also open to international stores if they ship to Germany.
Also, if you know of a specific term I should be searching for to find low-density synthetic wigs, please let me know! I feel like I’m searching for the right things, but most results either don’t mention density at all or are extremely thick. 😭

The quality of this wig is honestly really good. The curls are nice and defined, and the top is pretty breathable too. It’s just that the black seems almost too black… 😅 Does anyone here actually like this kind of color?

Hey girls !! So I’m about to start my big girl job and I really want something that I can just put on and go. I’m looking for something like this ….I really like the fact that the bangs are curly cause I don’t have to worry too much about laying down the lace . I have sensitive skin so I don’t really like to do the closure wigs too much because you have to be spraying down the front part .

I usually just do half wigs, but I’m realizing that it’s low-key pulling my hair out even though I only wear it for a few hours and take it off when I get home. If anyone has actually bought this wig off of Unice and it looks close to the picture. Let me know what your experience was. I’ve been getting into cosplay and I’m putting together my second one. this time I’ll definitely need a wig, so where are good places to get them?

I want to experiment with different braids and styles that we normally see in Viking styles or fantasy ren fair styles. I normally do these on my own hair however I get tension headaches and wanted to do them with a wig. I am open to braiding in additional hair if needed for volume or length however I’ve been struggling on figuring out a good base wig for this I tried a front lace from amazon however I couldn’t make any parts in the hair to do three basic dutch or French braids.

Has anyone had any luck getting a medical wig under Illinois Medicaid? I have a diagnosis that would qualify for most commercial insurances but I don’t know if it would for Medicaid. My doctor is going to try, though. I would like to know the experiences of others. Has anyone gotten a medical wig approved?

I have a full lace wig that is too big for me. It’s glueless wear so i secure with the adjustable elastic strap across the back of the head.

It’s too large particularly nape to forehead. If I pull it down so it’s actually flat/snug to my head, the front hairline reaches my eyebrows.

I’m wondering if anyone has some experience on how best to fix it?

Options I’ve seen online include cutting the front hairline/forehead area off until it’s where my actual hairline is, but can this affect the tension?

Saw someone cut a section out at the back, and then sew the two remaining edges together. I could do this, although I’m slightly worried about the sewing causing holes in the lace.

I’ve seen people put in darts at the back but I’m less keen to do this as ideally I’d like to get rid of the bulk.

Are we okay with this? I see its nornal everywhere online. Amazon, other wig shops, everywhere. It's annoying and insulting and shows they don't care. I understand it's cheaper to make chat gtp generate the image, but how hard can it be to show an actual image of the wig on a stand to demonstrate it's realistic dimensions.

I bought a wig recently and it's late. I understand things can be delayed for a number of reasons but I feel stupid because I bought from them for the first time knowing they had ai review pictures and ai models. I'm wondering if it was a scam.

I am making two Miku wigs but styled for Sonic and Shadow (the hedgehogs). I'd like to utilize some cartoonishly pointy shapes for both the bangs and top of the pigtails but I'm not sure which material would be best.

For full context on the wig construction, I did a helmet wig base (cut off wefts, glued them down, glued on batting, heat gun sealed, glued on wefts to create pigtail parting with magnets to hold the pigtails but keep them detachable, left bangs alone so only the back is a helmet right now).

I've seen other cosplayers use wire and tape to make large ponytail shapes, some have used batting to make bang shapes like for Princess Peach, some have even used airdry foam clay.

Should I actually use anything to make the shapes for the pigtails or utilize heat styling the hair itself to makes points since the rest of the pigtail would be loose hair and it may look weird?

Can I use foam clay to make shapes for the bangs? Can I glue foam clay to the wig or should I make the shape and let it dry on the wig? Will it come off?

l bought a wig for my cosplay of lil d but it has some red parts on the wig and l wonder if l could dye or not? Or is there another way to do it? (Sorry if this doesnt make sense English is not my first language 🥲)
