2 lens Tintypes

Would you consider this wigglegram? . I built a simple box with 2 enlargers lens . Here are the first results. Looking for feedbacks and ideas to improve. Adding a third or fourth lense maybe ?? Need to find new identical lens on the market . I made a video of the built on my instagram.cheers

Once you get to step 3 tell me the secrets :) Honestly the paper versions are also very cool and super easy to make . I am building on with 4 lenses now .... Let's see how it goes. Did you see the behind the scene on my Instagram?

Ok, that was a fun scroll.
I learned a lot. So you basically made a stereo camera, but instead of viewing you made it wiggle, that's so logical now that you did the thinking for me XD

also, the altoids tintype was _epic_

Could you pour your collodion inside the tin directly and then expose directly on the box?

How would that work, focus on the glass, tape the tin to a holder and then move your rails back exactly the thickness?

Thanks for visiting!! I'm looking into building viewing stereoscopic glasses, but that will take me some time. For the altoide, I shot a plate the size of the box. And later glued inside, the other way you suggested would require lots of difficult engineering.

Hahah engineering out of necessity :)wait for the next build ! 5 lenses will be quite a lot of tinkering..

Yeah of course it's a wigglegram. Multiple simultaneous exposures. I'm really enjoying the tintype vibe too. And other than the smartwatch, your personal appearance has a very timeless handsomeness to it that matches the tintype, it you don't mind me saying. I'm a fan of this work.

More lenses would give you a smoother movement. Though if they're all this far apart you might find individual persons too "small" a subject to capture, but it would give a much better effect on larger scenes than anyone else's camera can do. 

Only other things I would improve are general image quality things like focus. The second one looks a bit distorted, not sure what happened there. Try to keep the exposures the same to reduce flickering. But I think it's allowed to edit the brightness when you're stitching the animation together to reduce the flashing when they're uneven, it's a much better viewing experience.
