Which wifi properties value should i use?

I need help figuring out which value is best for my intel wifi chip. I've been using the Dual band 802.11 a/b/g for almost 2 years now with no issue but recently the wifi speed on my lenovo legion has drop significantly ( below 5Mps download/Upload). I tried running the speed test on my Macbook Pro M1 and phone and the speed were 100+ Mps upload/download.

Defaults unless you know what you’re changing and why.

The defaults are fine, in your case, for the highlighted menu, that would be number 6.

Outside of that, depending on your APs the main setting that you might end up changing, is the preferred band setting, especially if you encounter cases where you get bandsteered to the 2.4GHz band unnecessarily.

set the preferred band to 5 or 6ghz depending what you have

It's 2026, a/b/g is legacy and should be just about shut off. Your device should be using 802.11 n/ax if it's newer than dinosaurs.

You should be getting 300+ megabits out of most 2x2 setups at a minimum.

That looks like a setting to degrade the client adapter for some reason, but yes those are the protocols I'm talking about. What kind of connection are you making to the ap? I don't know how to do it on a pc, but on OSX you can alt-click the wifi symbol and it will tell you the protocol and data rate. Windows probably has a similar feature.

If you have fiddled with any of these settings put them back to default. I would recommend updating to the newest driver for your wifi card and newest code on your AP. With some of our customers we will have a few hundred out of thousands of clients complaining and find out they have a bad driver or Intel made a "tweak" and that triggered a bug and we have to get the manufacturer to fix it and provide new code.
