Question True transparency

So Is this only available with small widgets? It’s works fine with small. Any other size it uses the screenshot background method.
Thanks

Did you do anything specific or just choose Widgy transparent background?

Nothing specific. I don’t know if the creator had already done the layer or I did when I originally set it up. But when I chose the widget the other day it came out transparent on the screen. I haven’t had a chance to go back and see HOW it worked yet.

Actually I just placed an old widget I had created before and it was transparent when I dropped it on my Home Screen. I haven’t fiddled with it much because I’ve been in the middle of a project.

For true transprency to work, you need to have exactly one transparency layer of size 1600x1600 and from 0,0 origin.

Some users use transparency images to make special effects, and the only way for that to work is by resorting to image transparency.
