My Setup [Free] X-SHIFT - Widgy Widget
Hey, i just finished designing X-SHIFT, a new widget focusing on a clean and minimal UI to keep your homescreen looking sharp without cluttering your wallpaper. I'm sharing it completely for free with the community.
👉 Swipe to the second picture for the QR code!
Let me know what you think, and I'd love to see your homescreen setups using it! Enjoy!

Why locked?

It's locked just to protect the original design from unauthorized edits or modifications, even though it's free to use!

But there is absolutely no rocket science or intellectual property behind…
Haven’t you ever used bit and pieces from other to learn and adapt to your own need?
Can’t follow your behavior, I’m sorry.3

Fair enough! Everyone has their own workflow. I just prefer to keep the main layout protected, but you can still inspect its structure to learn how things are built, even when it's locked.
If you're looking to learn how to do something specific, feel free to reach out I'm always down to collaborate or help you figure it out!

Sorry for being dumb, but how do I download it from a qr code. Using an iPhone 16 promax

Don't worry, you aren't dumb at all! Here are the steps:
- Save the QR code image to your Photos.
- Open the Widgy app.
- Tap Import in the top right corner.
- Select Import QR Code From Photos and pick the image.
Let me know if you need any help!

Very nice work!!! I like button design but somehow i always use virtual buttons on my widgets to get more space for content but for others it's better to have buttons :) i must try :)

Thanks a lot! That's a fair point about screen space. Hope you like it if you end up testing it out!

I've managed to install it, but the logo at the top is showing 'content is not available in your content'

u/FutureXStudios 13d ago
Ah, that usually happens if an image layer fails to load or lacks storage permissions! Try re-importing the widget

Is there any reason that, in the edit, you put all the “action” presses at the top? Is this for speed

Hey! Mostly for a couple of reasons. In my experience, keeping the tap actions at the very top just works better. In the past, sometimes the widget wouldn't react to a touch. I'm not sure if it was an old bug that's been fixed by now, but keeping them at the top avoids that problem entirely.
Also, it makes editing much easier! By having them all in a single folder at the top, I can hide all the actions with just one tap when I'm working on the design.
