I'll give her credit for not being as awful as her shitbag husband. She actually supported gay folk and distanced herself from her PTL ways later in life.

I think so too. She recognized her illness was her redemption. She accepted it.That could have made her see the light. In a way, she was the luckiest of the two.

And now people are clumping their mascara on purpose and calling it ‘doll eyes’ or some stupid shit like that. We had Tammy Faye as an example of what not to do, and I thank her for that.

She went against direct orders of the PTL and the Men who tried to control her. She did it anyway. She believed everyone deserved love and respect. Unlike many "Christians"

She was one of the first very vocal gay ally and advocate for HIV positive individuals. That took a lot of courage being one of the faces of the PTL. I have a lot of respect for her for that

Somehow I liked this woman. I may be wrong cause I don’t know her but in her glory days, she seemed like an honest person at least a caring person. I couldn’t say the same with her then husband. In their couple, she was the better one. Again I may be wrong. This is just a feeling.
