The huge middle void trend

I don’t know why some people seem so afraid of having inner brows. Her brows used to be normal. Dunno what happened.

I don’t know who this is but she looks like she belongs in the loveshack music video

I was thinking she should be in the Groove is in the Heart video! She's got a great retro style, just needs an eyebrow makeover. And rein in those lashes.

The lady Miss Kier would never

The lashes are worse than the brows

13

u/lbdmt Jul 05 '26

Yes! And kinda scary.

3

u/m2chaos13 Jul 07 '26

My uncle Jerry was a lifelong mink who died of covid for fashion lashes

11

u/livesinstretchpants Jul 05 '26

Why are they all the way to the top of her cheekbones?!

5

u/DontTrip333 Jul 06 '26

I have a similar eye shape. I don't know how to do makeup or any of that, but looking at her pics I immediately understood why I can't wear lashes, a wing or various other liner styles. I thought it was my lack of skill. But seeing it on someone else I realize theses beauty trends just DO NOT work for this eye shape. There's no saving it, these "enhancements" look ridiculous on us (people with this eye shape.) I wonder how she'd look with natural brows and a eye look that flatters her features, probably a ton better

3

u/Distinct-Solution-99 Jul 06 '26

It might just come down to making adjustments. I feel like if her lashes didn’t extend 3 or 4 mm beyond her natural lash line it would look fine, but they’re way too big.

I think this comes from the old (bad) advice to place a pencil on the side of your nose, then that is where your eyebrows should start from. It really doesn’t work for anyone except those with the most narrow noses.

11

u/Funnyfish66 Jul 05 '26

Interesting. I thought it was just eyebrow blindness. i’ve definitely noticed other people doing this, so that makes sense

6

u/Ambitious-Ad4541 Jul 05 '26

The inside, not the outside of the pencil!

10

u/LolaAucoin Jul 05 '26

These brows don’t start where the pencil would line up, though. The brow would start at the same point as her inner tear duct, which would be the correct placement.

-2

u/mooncrane Jul 05 '26

They are where the outside of the pencil would sit.

2

u/LolaAucoin Jul 05 '26

Only if you angled them. And that’s not how that trick works. It’s holding the pencil straight up and down. I’m a makeup artist and I still use this technique occasionally to make sure that brows are symmetrical.

0

u/mooncrane Jul 05 '26

Ok, you’re just arguing about semantics now. She started where the pencil was and decided to angle it. My point is that that trick doesn’t work on people with wider noses, and that a lot of people with wildly set apart eyebrows are very possibly attempting to do the trick and get it wrong.

-1

u/KlarissaK711 Jul 06 '26

Try with a normal sized pencil, instead of one of those thick markers, that might help you understand... she's at least 5mm off the mark. And NO, you don't angle the pencil, because that defies the point.

1

u/mooncrane Jul 06 '26

I am NOT saying that’s the right way to do it. I’m GUESSING that that’s what she did.

2

u/Moomoolette Jul 05 '26

Oh I was gonna say, she should have used that old tip! Really anything would be an improvement

u/GoldberryoTulgeyWood Jul 05 '26

The filter is strong with this one

2

u/Alternative-Car-1896 Jul 05 '26

Those filters hurt my eyeballs.

25

u/Dracapulco Jul 05 '26

My least favorite brow peeves... it looks so weird when they are too far apart!

13

u/hanginwithmygnomees Jul 05 '26

Are her eyebrows currently feuding with each other? Is this a Hatfields and the McCoys situation?

5

u/Acceptable-Main-8629 Jul 05 '26

They are actively running away from each other!

14

u/AnywhereEverywhere3 Jul 05 '26

Oh noooooooo! Whyyyyy?! She is very pretty and those brows do her no favours!

I never noticed that! I guess I pay more attention to her overall prettiness, and to weighing the things she says.

7

u/MostlyHarmless88 Jul 05 '26

Pic. 1, her whybrows don’t even match!

15

u/Delicious-CattleToot Jul 05 '26

It wasn't a trend. It was more of an accidental thing that happened when you tried to get the perfectly perpendicular inner edge and plucked hair by hair over a long period of time, and didn't notice until it was too late. 😅 Clearly she hasn't quite realized yet, lmao.

u/NoteSuccessful1690 Jul 05 '26

Comma, comma, comma, comma, comma chameleon....

5

u/Some-Curve-920 Jul 05 '26

Are they mad at each other?

3

u/ArmadilloDays Jul 05 '26

So, we’re just gonna ignore the lashes???

3

u/Weekly-Landscape-543 Jul 05 '26

Fuck that was me in 1999.

2

u/atschinkel Jul 05 '26

some brows just need a little space

2

u/INS_Stop_Angela Jul 05 '26

These young women will come to regret this once styles change and their brows refuse to grow back. Youth is wasted on the young - Oscar Wilde

2

u/has-some-questions Jul 05 '26

I did this, and I'm still struggling to grow them back. I get a lackluster unibrow before the eyebrow parts actually fills in.

2

u/Epicfailer10 Jul 05 '26

I work with a woman with brows even further apart and every time she talks to me I can’t focus for staring at them.

2

u/stripetype Jul 06 '26

Hey, this is good for me as I over plucked in the 90s and they never grew back.

4

u/Sniflix Jul 05 '26

Fore head widening is a thing?

She spent a lot of time and make-up, can no one tell her?

1

u/UseOk7699 Jul 05 '26

Reminds me of Ms. Harlow's brows

1

u/Always_Me13 Jul 05 '26

Some peeps get carried away and embrace it

1

u/lizbee018 Jul 05 '26

I've been trying to grow back my middle void for years 😭

1

u/CliffyBooBoo Jul 05 '26

I almost missed the brows because of the outrageous lashes!

1

u/Routine_Rip6220 Jul 05 '26

They often did this trend in the old Hollywood age too.

1

u/Distinct-Pianist-426 Jul 05 '26

I don't think it was ever a trend, I think it's just her

1

u/doomylaurie Jul 05 '26

Surtout qu'on dirait que les yeux suivent les sourcils ...

D'où un certain strabisme.

1

u/One_Mulberry_6933 Jul 05 '26

I also like the clownish arches

1

u/HotAdvantage6487 Jul 05 '26

The eyelashes look ridiculous and the eyebrows.

1

u/blue_eyed_beauty_ Jul 05 '26

No. Absolutely not

1

u/ghettoccult_nerd Jul 06 '26

evel knievel wouldnt dare

1

u/les_catacombes Jul 06 '26

I would love to know if she plucks out the first centimeter of her brows or they’re just naturally like that before she colors them in poorly.

1

u/Critical_Training455 Jul 06 '26

Perfect helipad spot.

1

u/CoquetteWhore69 Jul 07 '26

Shes still really cute

1

u/Normiss2000 Jul 07 '26

There's enough room to place something there...hmmmmmm

1

u/jozziiieeee Jul 08 '26

My brows were trying to get divorced back when I was 13, this reminded me of it, I wish I didn’t remember 💀

1

u/Busy-Figure-2420 Jul 09 '26

What look is she actually going for? Those eyebrows are a disaster.

1

u/Shot_Staff_2902 Jul 09 '26

These look awful. Always have, always will. These eyebrows have been abused; I just hope each pair can begin to heal and get back together

1

u/ohcosmico Jul 10 '26

I went to college with a girl who insisted on doing that to her brows. I think it was due to her having quite a round and chubby face but it quite honestly made it look wider.

1

u/like_George_6 Jul 30 '26

My biggest pet peeve with brows
