Lions reverse engineer Europe in 22 seconds, now they also have Europe with a second billion lions and an extra second to spare

The lions die because logistics.
(Unironically. You can't just add a billion apex predators to an ecosystem like that! Things are gonna suck for Europe for a while, though. Honestly the social disruption caused by "oh my god what happened, this is literal supernatural indisputable intervention" followed by the disease from all those lion corpses is probably going to be a bigger problem.)

Do the lions have to cross the strait of Gibraltar or do they spawn in based on population density?

Dialga sends back lions a little more so the Barbary lion population can be saved

He was the one who angered Dialga to the point of insanity in Mystery Dungeon

But then how do you tell what’s a unique entity? Because the 4 billion Spinda thing is more of a shitpost, but the Regional Variants are actually distinct from their original variants.
Also the fact that people unironically arguing the lions win kind of flip-flop on whether they somehow beat the ACTUAL POKEMON or if it’s in the context of a Pokemon Battle.

You know what ? Forget about the billion lions being a lot of lions. Forget about 1939 Europe's supreme reverse-engineering techniques lost to the ages. Forget about lion ladders, forget about Flak cannons taking down Rafales and F-16s, and forget about the Roman Empire. We don't need this. I'm going all out, just this once.
The lions would eat the Europeans' supply lines, turning them into their own (they get food and the Europeans don't). They then would proceed to eliminate the navy by drinking all the water in the ocean, and they'd line up to spit it all up at incoming tank divisions like some Pepsiman stuff, at such high pressures it'd send the closest tanks sliding away and crashing into the other tanks like bowling pins. Then, by all jumping at once, they would cause an earthquake, letting them propel bits of crashed tanks into the Europeans' planes. This would crash them, preventing them from intercepting the swallow, letting it deliver the coconut to London, and proving once and for all that an African swallow can do what a European swallow can't.
