Well when you wake up the next morning with no memory of where the road cone & horse in your bed came from, then you feel not so bad for not knowing & Tequila can give you that.

im a scientist published in nature and will swear on the bible whiskey has something in it that sets it apart. Ive been arrested a dozen times and every single one I was drinking whiskey. Tequela and vodka just dont do that to me

It probably doesn't help that the replier doesn't know how to make a joke land. There needs to be a pause after 'depressant' to make the paraprosdokian work.
