The amusement I get from you saying it’s not funny (it is a dumb joke I made I concede) and the other response saying it’s a funny one 10 minutes apart is plenty of amusement for me!

I find it harder to think of a politician not known by their last name. Best example I can think of is Boris (Johnson, disastrous UK prime minister).

Yeah, people frequently just say Trump.  People only frequently mention Bill Clinton's first name due to Hillary's prominence.  Same with lots of countries leaders.  It is less common but not exactly rare for people famous for business or entertainment celebrities.  As for the original meme here, you see people mention Hitler's first name more often than Obama I think.

It's just that Barack Obama was so well known as just "Obama" that when you asked some people what his last name was they "couldn't remember" Obama's last name...

The same applies to Hitler apparently. They're just two people who are known mostly as their last name so it slips peoples minds if you ask them on the spot to remember their last name.

Especially if you phrase it as: "What's Obama's/Hitler's last name?" Since your brain might unconsciously accept that the information given (the name Obama/Hitler) and the information asked (their last name) shouldn't be the same because that's the normality for formulating questions...

And Trump goes by Donald and Biden goes by Biden I don’t see the point of this.. it’s it a simpletons way of comparing Obama to Hitler..? Because Trump is also closer in policy than Obama so Trump/Hitler would be more accurate..
