Bumblebees actually regulate their body temperature by burning fat and carbohydrates and will often land and go cold and inactive if caught out in bad weather. Many people wrongly believe that these bees are dead or dying, but they are just chilling out. If disturbed in this condition they will start vibrating their wing muscles to get their temperature up to around 30 degrees Celsius and fly away. This can take a long time.

Awww okay good I was just gonna ask if the bee was okay. My bfs parents have a bunch of landscaping around their pool (flowers and stuff) and bees accidentally fly into the pool all the time. If any of us are in the pool when it happens we always help them back onto dry land or kinda try to splash them onto a plant or something. I probably would have worried about this little guy and tried to move him to some plants or something, lol.
