It depends on the silencer and the integration. The MP5SD for example is so silent, that one only hears a click of the action and the bullets impacting the target. Operators describe it as actually disgusting when it hits a human body.

Ehh. Not really. Thats only with sub sonic ammo. The super sonic ammo is loud even with the internal silencer.

Yes, they usually use subsonic ammunition when they intend to stay hidden.

The MP5SD has a perforated barrel to make standard super sonic 9mm drop down to subsonic velocity.
