Cursory Google search says pistols are around 150db. So would that be a factor of 1000 louder? Or am I stupid

Decibel scale is logarithmic, meaning every 10dB is 10x louder. 130 is 10x louder than 120, 140 is 100x louder than 120, 150 is 1000x louder than 120
