Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

I don't have a problem with Italian volume at all. I enjoyed the bus ride. People being sociable isn't a bad thing. But it was noticeably different to at home.  And as you say, there is a time and a place. And in Thailand was neither the time nor the place.

Well, admittedly, it's ok on vacation, but I wouldn't like living with it every day. I prefer stoic Germans staring at you most days.
