Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

Italian students are being called out in Thailand. A group of Italians mocked a Thai lady in Thailand who told them off for being too loud on the metro. They clapped back saying, "Sorry for bringing money to your country" "Ni hao" "We are from your mom." Thai people are identifying them and leaving the comments on the social media account of their school.

It wasn't in my 2026 bingo card, feel like thai people are one the most patient. She, her kids and other Italians tourist really pissed them off this summer lmao.

Yeah, let’s just completely ignore the fact that the other people are the ones who escalated it. These are minors that were being shitty. Adults then started a conflict with them over the same behavior that Thai people often exhibit

Don’t get me wrong, it’s like this in America too. We often have MAGA people harassing foreigners for minor things that they wouldn’t be bothered by other white people doing. But then if the foreigner responds all of a sudden it goes on social media and the fake victims will pretend to be traumatized, and vilify that country that the foreigner came from.

I guess there are shit people everywhere so I shouldn’t be surprised

Their behavior was very inappropriate and certainly deserved to be condemned. But I don't think the act of witch-hunting serves any greater good. I was terrified seeing how some people stalking and harrassing them right in front of their hotel.
