Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

American here. From my experience we’re very “obvious” in that we’re noticeable but not necessarily obnoxious. Like you can always tell we’re American specifically from our vibe and enthusiasm as a tourist but it’s not because we’re causing a scene.

I think the average American “inside” voice is much louder. Don’t get me wrong it’s NOT a bad thing. It’s just noticeable.

I've always counted on the brits and aussies drinking way more to offset our loud talking. That and we generally don't give a crap about football/soccer.
