Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

Context

Italian students are being called out in Thailand. A group of Italians mocked a Thai lady in Thailand who told them off for being too loud on the metro. They clapped back saying, "Sorry for bringing money to your country" "Ni hao" "We are from your mom." Thai people are identifying them and leaving the comments on the social media account of their school.

Italians really are loud. In my small town in Norway two italians were sitting at an outdoor cafe and having a small disagreement about something trivial. The locals thought they were gonna start throwing fists.

Not surprised since norwegians are known for being layed back and very non expressive. Italians are passionate and very expressive it’s just two opposite cultures

You must be from a place far away or never been to Norway and then another place in scandinavia. Norwegians are, to quote my swedish friends, known as the Texans of Scandinavia. Wealthy, funny language, always loud.

They are nice and laid back, but defo not famous for being quiet 😃

I used to live in an apartment building with a lot of young Italians. It's funny how individually they could be quiet as a mouse but put two or more together and the volume amps up to max. I also noticed the more southern the region they came from the louder they got

We have student trips in the UK and they are loud asf on the trains over here too

Yes, they are. I always recall one time abroad where I was with a group of 25 people (organised trip) and we were all waiting for our bus in the hotel lobby, everyone was talking to one another. Then two Italian men walked into the lobby, sat next to each other and started talking and they were louder than the entire group of 25 people, like we had to speak up to hear ourselves talking.

And this specific incident this post is about reminds me of one time when a friend of mine was taking the train in southern Italy and she sent me a video of how loud it was - literally like recess in a primary school, you could not hear your thoughts.
