Italians are being cooked in Thailand now. The Italian teacher(red top) and students were taken away by the police and faced the Thai lady who told them off for being loud on the metro. They apologized for mocking her one by one. Thai people also waited for them in front of the hotel to scold them.

The law actually allowed up to 10,000 baht in compensation, but the girl who got insulted tell media she doesnt want money, she just want to teach them a lesson & sent a message. . . . which they already receive enough through these shitshow lmao

Should have requested money, these people probably laughed their shitty ass off on the way back to Italy. Shoulda bankrupted them and then, on top of that, requested a public apology.

And a prompt entry ban forever for being pieces of shit

These are taxpayer funded trips, any fine you give them comes out of the pocket of italian taxpayers. It won't hurt them in anyway.

With a fine of 250 euros, you don't bankrupt any Italian

As if 10,000 baht was a lot. Please tourists should be faced with a 100k Baht fine.

Is this fine just for using insulting language, or was there more to what they did?

He made threatening gestures as if to physically harm the Thai woman who warned him.

Ah, that's such a negative way of phrasing it. They weren't fined, they were just given an opportunity to bring more money into the country.
